HaaenSage was a major sponsor at the 2012 Refining China conference, held at the Regency Hotel in Beijing. Other sponsors included such companies as Baker Hughes, ExxonMobil, and Air Products. Participants included CNOOC, Sinopec, CNPC, Yangzi Petrochemical Company, etc. HaaenSage’s Liu Feng, President, and Joe Wilwerding, Global Technical Director, presented in conjunction with Ms. Lu Jun of industry/government-partner SAES (Shanghai Academy of Environmental Sciences). A synopsis of the HaaenSage/SAES presentation topic—“China LDAR Programs: Loss Prevention, Emissions Reductions, and Other Benefits”—is provided below. Other courageous presentations were provided by Mr. Cao Dongxue, Director and Professor of Sinopec’s Refining Technology Division, and Mr. He Sheng Bao, Deputy General Manager of PetroChina’s Science & Technology Management Department. HaeenSage chaired that afternoon session on Day 1 of the conference.
